Your photographs are beautiful and evocative-and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
Thank you too for stopping by Little Dogs Laughed-I appreciate you taking the time to look-
Tremendous . I love the way you have captured the window blind folds echoing those being worn by those massive strong sculptures straining to hold up the window corbels….
Thanks Elena.
You are right, this time I tried to recreate the classic look of the traditional chemical photography, leaving my normal workflow temporarily aside.

The ten thousand things have their life, yet no one sees its roots, they have their comings forth, yet no one sees the gate. Men all pay homage to what understanding understands, but no one understands enough to rely upon what understanding does not understand thereby come to understand. ~Chuang-Tzo
Before I had studied Zen for thirty years, I saw mountains as mountains, and waters as waters.
When I arrived at a more intimate knowledge, I came to the point where I saw that mountains are not mountains, and waters are not waters.
But now that I have got its very substance I am at rest.
For it’s just that I see mountains once again as mountains, and waters once again as waters.
dear Marcelo, to look to your pics is ALWAYS a big inspiration. I am more then glad, that I was allowed to meet you in the virtuell world.
You did a touching series, thenak you so much für sharing this with us.
Always interesting, marcelo. Love looking through the lens with you. My favorite is the one of the soft, white draperies floating down the windows, balanced on each side by those monumental concrete figures in concrete draperies.
The pictures are wonderful. I checked out the whole set, and discovered that my favorite was the chair by the window. There is something special about that one.
I also liked the guards, and the shoes. 🙂
Although I make a living from photography, I consider myself a passionate and enthusiastic amateur.
Keep always in mind that the aesthetic result of a picture depends more on your talent or creativity than on the technical knowledge or the gear you have.

m
Thanks Hanno.
I tried to mimic the look of the B&W copies I used to make in my darkroom. I didn’t add “grain” because I wasn’t completely satisfied with the result.
