Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
that struts and frets his hour upon the stage
and then is heard no more. It is a tale
told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
signifying nothing.
Shakespeare – Macbeth, V.v.

Your picture well represents Shakespeare’s words… I love his work, and now yours! 😀
Thanks Keli for your lovely comment.
m
What a beautifully constructed post, the words tie perfectly into your super creative photo 🙂
Thanks very much, Seonaid for your generous comment.
m
Beautiful – and with master Shakespeare too. Beautiful together.
Thanks so much Ann Christine, it really means a lot to me that you think so highly of my work.
m
A fine pairing of image and text Marcelo.
Thanks Elena.
The place where I made this picture is also the perfect location to perfom Macbeth.

I haven’t had much time to work on my “Pinterest” but under one shot of yours that I pinned the comment is: Marcelo is a poet with a camera. I have always thought so. Your pics speak. _Resa
Thanks Resa for the promotion of my work.
You are a very generous artist.
m
This is wonderful, Marcelo.
I love the combination of softness and texture.
Thanks Lisa, I used textures in an attempt to simulate all those daydreams, musings and flights of fantasy clouding our right understanding.
m
Me gusta el uso de las texturas, muy elegante.
Un saludo
HG
Gracias HG.
m
This is brilliant, Marcello.
Those knotted, twisted trees express as much emotion as any human. Connection, beauty, anxiety… profusely gorgeous.
Thanks Karen.
Those trees took us back to those times past where gardening was considered an art by itself.
m
If I may say.. as an avid gardener.. I consider gardening always as an art.
It brings beauty for the soul and the eyes, and it is so rewarding. It is the same as sowing friendship and happiness around us.
Thanks Marie for the beautiful comment.
I also consider you an artist 🙂
m
This is beautiful!
Thanks Debby.
m
Indeed but we keep on moving because of our inner thoughts say, just a few more centimeters, just a few more minutes, just a few more seconds.. thus season after season.. we reach some horizon
A wonderful photo as so many of yours.
Thanks Marie for your thoughtful and beautiful comment.
I endeavour to live “here and now” with no worries about a hypothetical future. I’m trying to clean my mind of fear, doubt, anguish, desires and all of those dark unwholesome mental forces which vitiating our thinking, values, attitudes, and actions.
m
We are all trying to reach the horizon/summit with not many damages.
The path is the same for all of us.. but none of us apprehend this path the same way.. but we still walking/climbing. as we have to
Have you read the book “Sacred journey of the Peaceful warrior” ?
It is a very very interesting book about all of this (fears, values, mental forces, worries about life and death etc) and easy to read.
It brings calm and relaxation and I have read it twice already.
Keep faith marcelo
Thanks Mrie.
Sooner o later we all become aware that “forward” is the only direction we can move in Life. We have no idea of the length o duration of our journey and almost none are interested in reaching the goal.
I have not read that book, thanks for your advice.
m
Beautiful foto and a fitting Shakespeare quote…cheers Marcelo!
Thanks Andrea for your kind comment.

I’m pleased to know that this picture has brought some joy to your life.
m
Im crying most of the time….. There is nothing I wouldn’t cry for and I just keep asking myself what is this all about…. and this little story made me laugh so much. Because we live this life and we don’t know a lot when we die… and we are all so weird to each other. Everyone is weird. Omg this is so funny. Life is a sad grotesque…
😦
Farewell…
