Visiting your blog has a healing effect on my mental and emotional health.
Sharing Haikus is a way to express my gratitude and appreciation for your work

Many paths lead
from the foot of the mountain,
But at the peak
We all gaze at the
Single bright moon.
Blogging has given me a way to connect with others through sharing and in return I have given my self a bit of the purpose I found within my work as a counselor. Thank you for the validation.

Photography, as with any art, is a way to communicate the introspecting author’s subconscious conflicts and desires and therefore it has a healing effect in the mental health of those involved in it.
To a certain extent blogging has the benefits associated with group therapy.

Every wrinkle, every layer, even the folds we put away; they all add to who we are. Most memorable photograph. Inspiring.

And all that remains of we were is buried under layers and layers of frayed memories.

Anyone can peek behind our mental curtains; in fact, there really aren’t any curtains at all.

Photography is, among many other things, a way to draw back the veil that prevents us from seeing reality as it is.
