Thanks Elena
We are involuntary spectators or actors in a heartbreaking drama for which no one has yet been able to find those responsible for this harrowing situation.
the sign “Palace” reminds there were better times of past glory… memories of that are now in those waste bags… stong image… memories should not be a waste…
Thanks Alexandra
In the current crisis situation, with increasing unemployment, every one of us may end up living in a state of extreme poverty for the rest of our lives.
Oh shucks, I just lost my comment…LOL Anyway, I was saying that your picture captures the great eclipse between the past and the present. Barred is the way to the frivolity and easiness of life past, and now at it’s feet we find humanity huddled, just trying to exist and stay warm. Materialism is no long important, he has all he owns with him, back to the world as he knows so many people don’t want to “see” him or his current conditions. Could be he’s hiding his face so other won’t know of his hard times… Excellent photo Marcello that can stir the thoughts and hearts of other! ❤
Thanks Keli
It is very hard to face with dignity and fortitude the difficult times we encounter. We do not feel secure in the face of a state which is collapsing and which is unable to address the economic crisis.
dear Marcelo, thanks for this pic! Its a document of the time, we are living in: so many people without a roof upon their heads, the scissors of poor and rich is getting more and more open … so much sadness, so much coldness in this world!
I was in Berlin, some weeks ago and it was exactly this what made me sad, by wandering through the streets.
