Thanks Poppy
I got the same feeling.
And all that remains is the whisper of the memories, which somehow evokes with sad murmurings times and places that will never return.
This is lovely. You wonder just what it is exactly that has caught his eye.

Perhaps he has seen a book that reminds him of his childhood, his school friends, his first love and so many, many more things that make him feel lonelier and sadder than ever.

Our past is hidden in the little things around us. Sometimes it appears in an unexpected and painful way.

We are definitely wanting to know the story…nice one, Marcelo
marcelo leonard said:
Thanks Susan
It is a story about that very moment when we are acutely aware of how much we have lost along the way.

I can identify with moments like that…

Me too, but little by little, I stopped longing for my former life and realized everything there was yet to be discovered and enjoyed.
