Thanks Suzy.
If we manage to open all those locks, we will find everything we always wanted to know about the most amazing secrets and mysteries of the life.
This can symbolize the books that have been banned in the past due to their content not reflective of the morals and values of society at that time. My latest favorite shot of yours, Marcelo :).
Welcome back M….
“Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault. Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope. They are the elect to whom beautiful things mean only Beauty. There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. That is all.” Oscar Wilde – The Picture of Dorian Gray
Thanks Poppy
Many books like those will never see the light, their authors were accused of heresy and their writings condemned to the darkness.
Some have died for writing them, others have just killed for trying to read them or spreading their content.

You are right on, but please, bear in mind that we are living the return of Dark Ages

Although some books appear to be locked in…. I feel locked out!
Great shot Marcelo!
Thanks Resa

Such a pity that precious books need to be protected …would love to know the contents ..

What beautiful, utterly gorgeous colour palette you created here, I love it
Thanks Paula
Colours can help to convey the mood of the scene.

Thanks Gavin
Padlocks awaken in me the same feeling that the “No trespassing” signs. I would like to know what is behind them.
