Passing strangers are always interesting. Does it cross your mind as to what they were thinking when they walked by? I wonder if these two have been friends since they were young.. or sisters maybe? 🙂
Thanks Suzy
Most of the time we treat passers-by as actors of the story we want to tell. In our photographs, they perform a role that probably has nothing to do with them.
Thanks Lisa for your generous comment.
I am well aware that my pictures are far from perfect, but I am working passionately in order to reach that objective.

Carrying our “broken dreams” luggage, we are moving to a grim future.
There comes a time when we were left completely alone surrounded by a wall of indifference whose gates are always closed.
one sentence which is carrying me is: stay open…
the world is the world and this became a really uncosy place, let us stay in beauty and love
thankyou Marcelo,
heartily Ulli
Thanks Ulli
Not only “stay open” but, what it is more, I try to face every day with a smile. I like to believe that it helps to dispel this fog of frustration and discouragement that clouds our present time.
Thanks Steven
I still have a long way to go in improving my photographic and editing skills in order to convey my emotions and ideas through my photographs.
You’re well on your way there Marcelo. I find that sometimes the images we capture convey those emotions and ideas, but the processing skill OR style at the time doesn’t get the result we want. I have gone back a year or two after the capture and finally process it “correctly”. As for the photographic skill side, it’s ultimately the percentage of keepers versus the throwaways that changes. I’m a very low volume shooter (maybe too extreme at time), but I force myself to put a lot of attention into the composition of each shot. Even then, many comps never get used.
Thanks Carlos
Wanting to communicate feelings through my photographs, I always wait until everything is in the right place before pressing the shutter.

Perhaps too late, someone decides that the future would be better walking in company than solo.
