I would like to thank all those who, with your comments and likes, contributed to making this journey an amazing and fruitful experience. Sharing realities has opened my mind and my heart to the unsuspected richness we have in our inner self.
I am becoming increasingly convinced that Photography is a powerful vehicle of communication that overcomes the barriers of the written or spoken language.

Well done Marcelo and congratulations! This last image is a powerful one to end the year.
Ever since you started this project, I wondered how you’d feel at the end of it. When I ended my photo/day “endurance test” in 2012, which often involved more than one image per day, I was ecstatic that I was no longer obliged to post photos on a daily basis. It had been a wonderful experience but I was happy to be free of that burden.
Surprise, surprise, it took me about three days before I got back into the swing of things and started posting images regularly again. That was six years ago and I’m still going strong — not on a daily schedule for sure, but pretty damn frequently.
I have the sense that photography plays a different role in your life than it does in mine, but I’m still curious to hear how you felt about the project at different points, especially when you published this last post.
In the meantime, thank you for enriching my life with your work in 2018, and best wishes for 2019.

This image is the quintessence of my work.
It has been a very challenging and a creative journey that turned out to be of great help in getting a deeper knowledge of myself.

I concur with your view. My last images have a lot to do with my fears and anxieties that were more deeply rooted in my inner than I had thought. Making those photographs has had a liberating effect.
